Six Bridge Replacements

MJ teamed with HDR and was a key member of the design/build team for the replacement of six bridges throughout Ulster County. MJ provided highway design, drainage design, utility coordination, work zone traffic control, design survey and mapping, and ROW survey and mapping. MJ also provided design services during construction which entailed RFI and submittal reviews, as well as coordination with the design team and multiple contractors. The project was phased, and all bridges were completed within an aggressive two-year span. 

The bridges include:

· NY 42 over Bushnellsville Creek, Town of Shandaken, NY

· NY 212 over Beaver Kill, Woodstock, NY

· NY 213 over Rondout Creek, Town of Marbletown, NY

· NY 55 over Rondout Creek, Town of Wawarsing, NY

· NY 52 over Verkeerder Kill, Shawangunk, NY

· US 44 / NY 55 over Mara Kill, Gardiner, NY
