Pet Lodge of Saratoga

MJ provided survey, civil and structural engineering, architecture and landscape architecture for the design and construction of a new 6,000-square-foot pet facility. The Pet Lodge is a full-service facility that offers dog and cat boarding, daycare, pet grooming and obedience training classes. The building includes state-of-the art, luxury kennels that have monitoring systems so owners can see their dogs while they are away. There is both indoor and outdoor space for dogs to socialize and play. MJ’s site/civil scope included site circulation, building footprint, parking layout, stormwater storage and treatment, septic, and greenspace. MJ’s architectural/structural scope included superstructure framing for the building; concrete foundations; doors, windows, roofing system and finishes; and applicable permits.
