Niskayuna Multi-Use Trails

MJ was responsible for the design of two multi-use trails to further develop the network of trails in the Town of Niskayuna. The projects improved the walking, running and cycling environment by better connecting hundreds of households to the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail.

The Flower Hill Multi-Use Path extends from the Flower Hill cul-de-sac to the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail via Rosendale Road. MJ’s design includes a 10-foot-wide, asphalt, multi-use trail, a mid-block crosswalk and the addition of flashing beacons.

The Soccer Field Multi-Use Path project included design and construction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of 10-foot-wide, asphalt trail at the Zenner Road Soccer Complex which connects to the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail.
