Dutchess Stadium Parking Lot Improvements

MJ led all engineering, landscape architecture, and survey services for the renovation of this eight-acre parking lot. The stadium is home to the Hudson Valley Renegades, a minor league baseball team. The existing parking lot included one paved lot and two additional gravel lots, which were in poor condition with potholes and numerous eroded areas.

MJ’s scope of work involved placing a fog seal on the existing paved lot, paving one of the two gravel lots, paving the drive isles, and placing compacted asphalt millings within the spaces for the remaining gravel lot. MJ relocated ADA parking to improve accessibility to the stadium. Additional work included drainage improvements, preparation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, and lighting improvements. MJ was also responsible for bid phase services and construction administration, including bi-weekly meetings.
