MJ was responsible for the design of the replacement of one, four-span structure and the vertical clearance increase jacking of another structure carrying local/State roadways over the Berkshire Section of the NYSTA. MJ developed three preliminary design schemes and progressed these through the final design of a two-span, curved steel, multi-girder structure. The incorporation of earth retaining systems was utilized to reduce any right-of-way or environmental (wetland) impacts. MJ was responsible for all survey and mapping, and highway and structural design to develop the separate design package for these structures. |
