Ferry dock

MJ is responsible for the design of two ferry slips on each side of Lake Champlain in response to the emergency closing of the Crown Point Bridge. MJ is performing all survey and mapping, and design services for construction of new slips on both the New York and Vermont sides of Lake Champlain. MJ is responsible for extensive coordination with NYSDOT, VTrans, the Lake Champlain Ferry Company and all affected regulatory agencies. The closing of the Crown Point Bridge has impacted thousands of travelers who use the bridge daily to commute between New York and Vermont. This is a fast-track project being designed on an aggressive schedule.
